Data protection complaints

If you want to complain about how Cohvia processes your personal data when we act as a controller (for example, account data for people who use our service, or information we collect through our websites), you can contact us using the route below. This is also the intake we use for UK rights under the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (including the statutory right to complain to the controller, in force from 19 June 2026).

How to submit a complaint

Send an email to privacy@cohvia.com (suggested subject line: [Data protection complaint]). Include enough detail for us to understand your concern, how to reach you, and any relevant reference (for example, the email address associated with your Cohvia account).

What happens next

We will acknowledge your complaint without undue delay and, where the UK statutory timetable applies, within 30 days of receipt.
We will investigate and work toward a resolution without undue delay, and keep an internal record of the complaint until it is closed.
You may also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
